The Heart of United Reins
“Everything a horse does is communication. Communication is information. The best thing you can do with it, is learn from it, instead of taking it personally.”

Hi, my name is Roy! I’m originally from Louisiana. When I heard there was an opening at United Reins of America to help Veterans, First Responders, Service Members, and Individuals recovering from addiction, no lead line could hold me back! My specialties are grounding, connection, and long naps in the sun. Together we can get through anything!

Hi there, I’m Ranger. When I met Roy in South Carolina, he told me he was looking for an assistant in helping others with their trauma. Having experienced trauma in my past and overcoming it, he said I was the perfect candidate for the position. Now, I get to help and walk alongside others on their journey to healing!

Hi, my name is Deziderata, or “Dezi” for short! I am a master communicator, fluent in body language and energy. I help humans learn how to set boundaries that actually hold. Emotions? I feel ‘em, show ‘em and move through ‘em—loud and proud. Whether I’m holding still like a mountain or kicking up my heels like it’s recess, I invite others to find their own rhythm and express themselves freely.
Zen Masters - Nala & Comet

Hi! We’re your zen masters here at United Reins. While the others kick and play, we chew on stillness. We know when to climb, when to pause, and when to let the world roll off our backs like rain off a tin roof. We hold the quiet center. We don’t rush. We don’t panic. We just are! And when humans come into our field, we help them learn to be, too. We teach presence, patience, and the power of not reacting. We model self-trust and inner peace. So if you’re looking for clarity, calm, and a little goat wisdom, we’re here for you. Still. Chewing. Watching. Waiting.
